Honestly that's my favorite thing that happens when I turn my key. I love seeing the fuel pressure gauge work.

Mooshed the factory throttle cable bracket over 180* to level the cable mount point to the TBI. Painted it "not black" after welding a reinforcement plate to the back

The new layout. Mount point is 2.5" higher. No more sticky throttle

Looking for a longer speedo cable
He posted up this info:
found 2 standard lengths available these days:
100" - ACDELCO 88959481
80" - ACDELCO 88959478

There are aftermarket versions priced pretty reasonably.

Finally got in a test drive. Speedo is Waaaaayyyyy off.
Throttle cable is much better. Also now makes my second favorite sound again: that crap ton of air going in the intake, a glorious noise I haven't heard since Qjet secondaries

I figured out how much mine was off and ordered the closest gear ratio box thingy that attaches to the T case and now its pretty good. Between the tires and change to the doubler it was out by quite a bit. Now its within reason.
