Got the wiring rerouted up to the frame, ground wire terminated, checked diff oil, cut some turn down pipes and double checked some stuff with the sender.

Need to:

Build new pressure line to the existing filter
Replace filter
New return
Vent breather on tank
Weld turn downs
Check fluids
Load stuff

Thanks. If i had to do it again, I'd do it a little different. Could have made the fitment a bit better and it hangs about an inch lower than it needs to clear the tank

But in the end, if it takes a rock the tank will live, and it doesnt hang down too much. So it'll work
 
Can you imagine what that would weigh if it was made with 1/4"? There's a balance between bomb proof and practical I think. I figured the biggest thing a gas tank skid plate does is keep the tank from getting punctured. Dents suck but they are manageable. I've seen some pretty banged up tanks still getting rigs around on the trails.
