I did however plot a place to do cross over to combine the pipes.

How close does everyone think is too close to the poly mounts on the transmission?
Probably be within 2"

The picture of me replacing the header gasket was kinda anti-climatic

I suppose so. Still more than I did today. Well I did dump a D44 off at Larry's house today. But that's about it. I could go get off my butt and find a correct door lock for the camper propane compartment but lack the ambition.

For the exhaust to run by? Are you worried about heat or movement?

I think heat wise you'll be okay, I'd have to do some digging but I know that exhaust hangers can be had in polyurethane...

Who around here know exhaust theory stuff?

Like taking a single inlet Flowma$ter type muffler and making it a dual inlet 2.5" and increasing the outlet to 3 or 3.5"

Too much air in the case?

All I can say is, the 3” in 3” out flowmaster on my k5 is WAY bigger than the 2.5 I replaced.

Well I am thinking of stuffing 385 HP through a single, so it better damn well be!

Looking at crossing under the transmission to case adapter, going in 3" and trying to wiggle it out somewhere behind the tire.
I did like your ghetto frame tube run

Also having concerns over the length due to flex/not flex ordeal

Allegedly the inlet location is what determines the inside baffles and crap of the muffler. I bet you would just ruin it rather than it work.

Always possible

I have to cut the old one off to redo it, figured i would look in there. A 3” in/out is only $38.

I would give them to @mrk5 if he needs them

Did A lot of comparing between all of my flowmaster 40s and as far as I could tell they’re all the same internally. Didn’t matter if they were offset inlet/outlet or single in dual out. Also looked at some dual/dual cutaways and they were the same. Made mine a dual inlet/outlet 3”. I’d say if it does reduce HP any you won’t feel it at a mile high.

Possibly true
