Ha lots of folks talking about joining the single exhaust club! I figured I'd always be alone with that.
I think it's a lot easier way to do 4x4 exhaust with the tcase, especially clocked up at all.

Ill have to build a sidewinder to miss the front shaft

You old guys and the single pipe.

I got long tubes duel 2.5 pipe into purple hornies and axle dump...because it was all free. Lol!
More has to do with t case being clocked up and the fuel running down the same rail

i use to run a truck with a pair of 40 delta flow 3 chamber flowmasters . years latter they rusted off . ( north east living )

i replaced them with 1 40 delta flow 3 chamber 2x 2.5" inlet and single 3" outlet .

the sound was much better inside the cab / sounded more firm and crisp outside .

i like my single 3" stuff these days . . . and cheaper on the material and install .

Sooo

Guess I’ll dump this here and run with it. Since the new engine went in I’ve played with a Qjet, Sniper, and TBI, coming to a conclusion:

The head and cam characteristics really like the carb, but are just “ok” with the injection.

The vortec intake is $400, as is the distributor.
So officially offering the Sniper for sale at a discount.

I’ll run the Q until i can get a MPFI system with a Vortec intake

292 turbo heads are good

Part of my issues stem from low over lap on this cam and ive seen it hit 23” vacuum under throttle with the carb. Its too much for the intake with the injection and i still need to add the timing control.

It’s almost a wash selling at a loss and buying new stuff

Im sure a milder SBC or even a half built bbc would be great with the Sniper

my ecu touch screen has its days were it gets all flickery / spastic . . . but i do need to update my firmwere on both units yet . to busy trying to finish truck to drive it .

I'll just leave this here for you...

you just got your self away from holley and went edelbrock for the same money stand point and its all 1 package deal .
