Is that to compensate for clocking up?
That was my theory. Not sure how much that theory’s worthIs that to compensate for clocking up?

Lol. I have one. I didn’t do a full rebuild on this bastard and it was really showing on that caged needle bearing. Chris at ORD and I discussed it before I went all nerdy. We were kinda curious, so I did mathThis is some sherlock Holmes shit and I like it. I wish I could really help you. I do have the gm factory service manual which I can try to get some info out of that if you need?

You can see the gap when I slid the screw drive in there a few posts back. I knew as soon as I looked at the cage, it had a gap, no screwdriver loldang that is a lot of change from the old to new needle bearings.. wouldnt have thought they would wear that much..

Cool!!! Good work old man!Pulled the passenger exhaust, ground all the welds and redid them, wire brushed the whole length and gave er some Alberta Chrome exhaust paint and reinstalled
Put the 205 back on and re assembled everything. Drove down to the county road and gave it two gears worth of shift light before parking it on a clean patch of concrete
Now we wait
