Lame update with no pictures

Found the retainer clip on the driver side E brake bracket missing. Thus no E brake. More importantly found that the cable has been cut or broken all but 3 strands

Guess it was good I went looking


Scrubbed rust out of the rear wheel wells, rust reformer and repaint. Chipped the rust off the brake drums and repainted. Blah

Completely reconfigured the layout for the e brake, higher on the frame and over the exhaust. Works good. Steering is super tight yet

Tested the springs today. They didn’t fall out. Only reason the main leaf didn’t reverse was because the spring under it is also almost eye to eye
2700 pounds
