Officially I’ll be sticking to the list I posted a few pages back

All that stuff is in the budget. Maybe some intake air work, to help drop the temps

If I blow it up, maybe. It’s not like it’s a turd
Sounds like as good a reason as any :waytogo:
Disable the Rev limiter and get it to a burnout comp and do an exabition run :burnout:
:thumb:

But really, isn't that system super tunable?
Couldn't you add some advance at the bottom and adjust the fueling a little to pick some up down off idle?
Cam may be a good way. But that'll still need tuning once it's in.

It’s got a pretty good cam in it. Google up the ZZ6 EFI for all the specs

Fan of the rev limiter. I’ll leave it be lol.

lots of tuning planned. There’s definitely some in there. Going to do almost exactly as you mentioned

This is almost turning into the Squirrel 2.0 thread...

Must be a long bed thing.
Funny thing is its almost the same conversation that was had before the engine swap.
Really, all I'm bitching about is the same 2 hills. Don't wanna down shift
Going 4.88s fixes the RPM-speed issue there, at the expense of running a whole bunch more RPM on the highway everywhere else. So I'd need OD. I don't view a 4500 as much of an upgrade over the 465. It would be with different gear splits

If you went with 33 inch tires you might not need the milk crate anymore.
Seriously though I have noticed the difference in my k5 also.curious to see what you come up with.

In my defense, it's the @Beek that needs the milk crate

What MAP are you on? I thought yours had a little bit of lumpy in it from before. And I'll take notes and try to be mindful of what it's doing. Part of trying to get Edelbrock to pony up the 5008 MAP data was to see what is missing, and not just on mine

so is the bumper done yet?
It's done laying on the floor. 15*F outside and no garage heat. So no

Gotta have priorities man.... Trucks are more important than money. If they weren't we wouldn't mess with square bodies lol.

Quoted for posterity

I’ll burn all my bills on Saturday and get some momentum going on both the heat and the bumper. Not much progress to be made during the week

Been a solid week of below freezing highs out here...

Tomorrow will be 10...
