Well it’s still not leaking, so maybe not

That’s HarleysI was told that when Squarebody trucks quit leaking, they are empty.
That's awesome. So finally got the 205 to stop leaking, and took it for a test drive. Observations:
1) 205s are surprisingly quiet with all of the parts in them
2) It sounds a shit ton better with 3” mufflers and no tail pipes.
3) Thermostat works today
4) Between the mufflers and the intake turtle, it absolutely picked up power between 2-3k RPM. That feeling you get when it “starts to pull” is down about 4-500 RPM
6) it sounds better
7) Only 1 dB louder inside and outside at idle
8) lifted square bodies are interesting at 100 mph
9) this is the longest hour a 205 has gone without leaking
Yep still on ATF. What I can say for sure is that the later ones seem to shift better. Is yours still a 77 box, or did you change that when you did the engine? Are you still running atf in the 465?
I was driving my pile around the other day and was happy how it shifted with 80/90. But I think and have had other guys drive my truck saying the is the nicest shifting dump truck tans they have ever shifted.
What that thingy ? Dont look like the volcano in the vendor section .Never mind the mess. Also have the front drive line back in
