The Green Machine - parked

Yeah, it'll be done by then, provided my sye comes, which was ordered more than two weeks ago and still no package.

Very nice, I'll be looking forward to seeing the swap done. Will be a huge improvement over last year.

The pics of it up on the jackstands made it look like it was floating - like a hovercraft!

Nice job - looks pretty tall, (the rollers don't help) how much is it going to sag once on it's own weight?

We've (Keith and I) determined that it's going to sit about 5" higher than stock. The weight has been transferred from the frame to the axles for now, until the shock mounts are made, then I'm pulling them out and finishing them up with paint and new brakes on the front.

So I've changed my mind on the wheel and tire combo, and am going with these:

Time to break out the Sawzall.

No actually, I'm just joking, I'm not doing that, BFG makes their new all terrain in a 34x10.50 size, which I think will look just about perfect, kinda like these:

That is a 315 size tire from Keith's tow rig.

Also, we got the front shock mounts mostly fabbed up, just got to do the bump stops. Started on the rear mount but ran out of light so we'll finish another time.

Monday hopefully we'll get the rear mounts finished and Tuesday I can plumb the brakes and install the rest of the steering and it'll be driving!

Then off to the exhaust shop.
