The Jimmy build, beat and rebuild with very few updates.

That is what I meant, was dead tired and to lazy to add punctuation. I think with what we have planned it will get the seal of approval from anyone. I'm lucky to have his help.

Don't know. But this thread was started because Avery asked for a desert racing section and he had the only thread in it.

I did something to upgrade the Jimmy today.

Put a pair of these in. First time I have bought off the shelf aftermarket parts. Worked well.

DIY4X. Talked to Kurt at 11pm Friday night. Had the Wednesday mid day. Bolted right in. No more fan running on the shroud.

New heart beat a long way off. Maybe never. Unless you buy it when I can't climb in it anymore.

Not tired at all. [ just seem 5o float the valves on a regular basis.

Ben is talking about an LS 6 I owned. Sold it for stupid money to make our house payment low.

I remember that. Back in the days before Deuling showed up with his too-tight pants and love for going fast.

Wheeled Iron Chest today. No issues, just a lot of fun with a good group. Got done at 2pm. Somebody said, lets go do Chinaman's Gultch. OK.

Never do one more run. I think the 6 years that panhard bar mount has been beat on finally got to it. Tore the mount in half. Split some welds and tore through the plating. The rock wasn't that big either.

We were able to winch the end of the grod back where it needed to be. Twisted the remaing plating out of the way with a big Cresent wrench. Luckily, there wasan old steering damper bolt hole below the failure. Ran a bolt threw Iit and the heim and wrenched it down. Had to pull the misalignment spacers out. So the bolt slopped.

Drove it out really slow while the others finished the trail. Suck part is, it bent the shaft on the passenger coil over. It does not like to go up and down any more.

Some pictures will be coming this week. They are on a camera that is not mine.

Oh, and the minute I got the tools out, it started dumping rain.:doah:

Ouch Wade, stop running into rocks! Hopefully it gets fixed before blazer bash, I need the Jimmy next to my truck!

It won't be there unless a rich uncle dies tomorrow. And I don't have a rich uncle.

I have a 4k surgery for my wife to pay for first.
