The Jimmy build, beat and rebuild with very few updates.

Cleaning and organizing the Jimmy to go wheeling next weekend. Looked in the back and found this.

I guess I did not get the lid on tight after @4door99 broke on Golden Spike. 2 gallons of oil absorbent.:doah::haha:

At first I thought it was broken glass from the rear window. Reminds me of the time I accidentally discharged a fire extinguisher in my crew cab; one little squirt makes a hell of a mess.

Home depot bucket. Has gloves and brake parts cleaner in it also. Trail leaders at Blaser Bash have to cary a clean up kit. I just leave it in the Jimmy.

During my wheeling prep, I pulled the rear drive shaft to check the joints. Found the real reason for the intermittent squeek. One cap on the rear joint was solid. Would not spin or come off. The other were good and well greased. Cut it open and found no grease in it. Could not run a wire down the center of the ear. Assuming my greasing never got to those needle bearings.

Was a Spicer. I check the new one and it is clear to all 4 caps. Good to go.

I like greasable for everything except axle shafts.

Its funny how much grease a driveshaft u joint will take after a few trips to the dunes.

While I was racing in KOH a couple years back, I let the pit crew guys use Penny as a support vehicle in the pits. They set off a fire extinguisher in the back by accident and discharged the entire 5 lbs worth. I still have it shake out of cracks and crevices every time I hit a bump years later.

Haha! No doubt.
