The Purple Camaro

Totally unrelated, my girlfriend just asked me " Why do they call him Bent"

Man you can’t serve up softballs like that.

Couple reasons. Use your imagination, half will be correct

All kinds of things come to mind if I use my imagination, we would have to move this thread to the pen though.
So um yeah,............... how about them Yankees?

And in other news, this thread has been a good influence on me, I started my Z/28 today for the first time in about a year. Brakes felt a little iffy but hoping to pull it out of the trailer next weekend.

Looks like a good solid pass. No glaring problems. Definitely a good point to build from!

Good to hear about the Z28 coming out of mothballs. The guys at the shop and I are planning a run to Bandimere for a Wednesday test and tune later this month or August. You should bring it or the hot rod. I'll let you know when we figure out the day. I'll be bringing the SS.

This is awesome Ron!

You should be able to get that many or more on Wednesdays at bandimere, I always did.
It’s a awful drive to get off work and then drive through rush hour traffic to get there
They’ll have the track open on a Friday again here. Prep at PMI is actually pretty good despite rumors to the contrary

Just the issue with “too much” traction for the clutch car. If I could rolling spin off the light like I had intended, I could grab a much better ET

Still just pump gas and no boost/nos. Also the only 350 car in existence it seems. Everyone else is either LS stroker, boosted, or other variation of 400”+

It’s really not ”bad”. When I started putting parts on the list last fall, I was shooting for 12.7s here (11.99 or better corrected to sea level). I’m not far off

Love it!!

A few names on the list I recognize.
There’s some names on there, a few national champions and several division champions

Jim Bogners son David was a multi time Super Stock national champion
