so far the worst things I have found on the truck. 4" pipe body lift, brand new aluminum radiator zip tied to the core support, and The gobs of wiring going to all the aftermarket gauges... That don't work haha
I think you need to find a chevy grill. Or a GMC tailgate lol.
also noted on the k10 the alternator had a wire going from negative on battery to a stud on the back of alt. the 94 silberado had the same wire going from the stud on the alt but going to the positive on the battery?
You want the new alternator. I can't remember how you wire that up, but I did it on my 1988 V10 Suburban. i just found the answer on the internet somewhere.
As for the wire on the stud on the back of the alternator, it always goes to the positive terminal of the battery. That is how the alternator charges the battery.
Did you install a reverse rotation water pump?
