I just joined the group and came across your thread. I probably spend a good several hours looking at all your upgrades and the things you have done to your rig. Excellent job I must say. I can't wait to get back from deployment and start working on things with my Suburban. You gave me a lot of ideas and inspiration. My Uncle works heavy equipment and lives in Boulder. I used to go boating on lake Mead with them every summer before I joined the Army. Hope things are going well.

Sadly enough I haven’t done much with Daisy this year. She needs tires, shocks, a radiator and a fair amount of interior work. Wheeling/camping/daily driving her for a few years took a toll on this 30yr old truck and I found quite a few things that need to be revised from the current build. A big rebuild is on the way, no idea when it will actually happen though. As I mentioned in the lounge, I’m moving to MN in a few weeks. Daisy will actually be staying at my parents place here until we have a house of our own and I can park her inside. I don’t anticipate much to be done this year sadly.
Booo. I still remember the photos of you pulling Daisy out of the backyard and getting excited to redo her. Don't let her sit too long this time!

I was going to say, I was getting ready to buy it because it had been sitting at your dad's for too long.
I know guys, trust me it breaks my heart. The fact that I’m moving away from my friends and family is really setting in. This week is gonna be rough I’m sure. We had our going away party yesterday and today my family came over for Father’s Day. I’m done working, I’ll be packing up my house, dropping daisy off at mom & dad’s, loading up and hitting the road on the 30th.

Moving to a new place and making you be outside your comfort zone will make you grow as a person in ways you didn't know you could. No worries bother. You will be fine. Have a open mind and enjoy the ride.

Daisy went for a ride yesterday. She fits the new trailer really well and it handles great. The Ram didn’t seem to care, daisy and the trailer combined is probably 10-11k lbs, I dragged it across town in 110* temps and everything worked great.
I didn’t take any pics of daisy in the backyard, it honestly hurt too much. I feel like I’m abandoning my girl there. I can’t let her stay there too long.

I don't remember if he still has it. He moved to Minnesota and built a buggy with an FJ grill.
If I’m correct, it’s sitting in storage somewhere.
I think it’s still at his dad’s place. (Hopefully)
Yeah, Daisy is sitting in storage in southern NV. I hate it but that's a better place for her than here at my home in MN. I don't have room where I'm at for Daisy to be parked inside. So until I have the money to expand my shop to house her, she stays at dad's place in the desert.
Here's the really sad part.
After I moved, my dad was starting it up every couple weeks for me. I told him not to let it run too long without filling the radiator because it leaked about 1/2 way up the core. Well, one time he fired it up and got busy doing other stuff around his property and 30ish min later he went to shut it off and it was already shut off... and wouldn't crank over... I had him pull the batteries, they were gonna go bad soon anyway. Daisy has sat completely dormant since, bald tires, leaky radiator, presumably junk engine.
Seeing her sitting there when I went back home last fall was hard, I'll admit that it brought a tear to my eye. I love that truck, it breaks my heart letting it sit there but I'd feel worse if I brought it up here and it started rusting and molding. A parked car rots away much quicker in MN than in NV.
I wish I had a better update for you guys but that's it. Someday Daisy will make a comeback but for now she's parked right back in the backyard I dragged her out of all those years ago.
