The Shop Truck

1971 Chevy C20 with a custom flat bed.
Yup. Just thought I'd throw it out there after seeing the logs. (y)
I'm still WOT on both of those log snips, it's just the nitrous and extra fuel that got shut off. The fuel stops immediately, but the nitrous has to vent out of the solenoid, lines, manifold and fittings and doesn't drop off for another .1-.2 seconds.

Could you run the fuel solenoids an extra .1-.2 after the nitrous solenoids close?
It's a dry shot, the fuel is only coming from the injectors. By default on the nitrous config, there isn't a way to run the fuel after the stage shuts off, I would have to create a custom table that adds fuel when a stage deactivates. The spike seems not to happen when I PWM the solenoid closed over 1 second rather than just shutting the solenoid, so I'm going to start with that. If we're still having a lean spike I'll make a custom table.

I would like to say thank you for posting up so much of what you are doing and finding as you do. It has been teaching me things that I had no idea about before!
And it's very cool to see someone change into a different hobby and learn several new skills, AND be successful, IMO.
:saweet:

I won't be running a 250 shot for a few years.
My engine has to come out before that could happen. And I'm not doing it again this soon lol.
I'll live vicariously through this truck for now :thumb:

I first met @r3dd0g on the rocks of Moab. I don't believe that the S10 had nitrous, and never ran the 1/4 mile dragstrip. And the SAS Duramax..
Those are different automotive hobbies compared to the "Shop truck"
You understand what I mean, so :flipoff13:

he had spray on the s10

I think the s-10 had spray the last couple times at moab, and I thought the way everyone left the campground that the main road was a drag strip.:saweet:

It's not? My truck chucked a belt leaving the camp ground, I wasn't to thrilled the trans wouldn't shift... I thought you could tweak the holley to not need a vss.
