Yay more progress.
Yesterday messed around with the buggy floors, it will need a lot of aluminum work and a new trans tunnel but I figure I will want to test this trans before I button it all back up in case it needs to come apart..
Can't find room for the heater, I hate the computer mount, the new harness just does not put it anywhere I want. So I hate to say it but I might be ordering another harness with longer leads to the PCM. Not happy about that but maybe that will make me put a ls motor in the blazer if I have a new harness sitting around.
Cut the hole for the air filter/ maf to come through but ended up doing it square for simplicity. I need to come up with a thick rubber flange that I can make two piece and cut a hole in the center not sure how but I'll come up with something maybe similar to the piece a k series has for the fire wall and steering column?

just square and on a bigger scale.
The blazer got some steering hooked up, throttle cable and other junk and the leaky rim sealed up.
Now the fun part

I've been pretty disinterested in the 07 and I put my name on the waiting list for a full custom trans build but the mud bogs and the state fair tuff truck event both happen before I'll receive

the state fair tuff truck event is the first..
Well I decided I want to go, even if I just put a stocker mild one back in. I dug through my dead trans pile for the trans I broke the intermediate shaft in and then pulled dead trans number 14 out of the truck tonight "in less than 20 minutes with me and my Indian I might add"
Truck is cleaned up, 44" TSL's look smaller than the buggys 42's!
Tomorrow I'll have him drop them off and I should have one or two transmissions waiting for me end of the day Wednesday. I also decided to enter tuff truck this year, if I get in I'll toss some timea cage and some money at the truck. Over all my interest has dropped in the truck so I am really hoping this trans can just get me by for a couple weeks. I'm to the point that I could move on from it but would like to try to get my interest back.
We also pulled the trans and t case from the samuri.. Sadly I broke the t case along with roasting the clutch after I could not get it in 4low. Bummer..turns out the t case and it rotating was the reason

. Broke 3 of the bolts on one side. So I'll need to address that but I have a spare case here from a Sami I parted out last year with bad gears so somehow that all worked out
The buggys tsil lights came in too. 32 4 inch led clear lens, 19 led 2 inch back ups. I also orderd in line strobes to put on the front rigid duallys and these 2 inch LEDs. Those will fired off my switch panel that is already ready for it.
Not excited to make the panel but will get on that asap. The tail lights I ordered a pulser, it flashed them quickly several times when you first hit the brakes then they go solid. I put a brake switch that in inline on the hard line to work it. I may mak a brake switch or pulse modual bypass so I don't make my friends go into seizures on the trail though
And lastly in my circus of 5 projects at once.. I got the Cognito arms, fancy ball joints and some tie rod sleeves for the duramax. I wanted to do a solid axle but I just don't have the time and I don't want the truck down during wheeling season when I need it to tow.
Between work, social life and trying to kill all these projects I am full speed ahead right now and going crazy! Sitting in the buggy though watching YouTube vids Is pretty motivating though
