Well just when I think I’m done! 208 TC shooting fluid out vent when I’m on the throttle. And brand new tranny slipping at WOT. Pretty sure shop didn’t do TV cable correctly.
Rebuilt 208TC and new Bow tie Overdrives 700R4. I need some new luck and mechanic.

How much fluid did you put in the TC and how is the fluid level in the transmission?
Gonna check everything this weekend, probably blowing thru the seal from tranny under load, not sure what else it could be? TC was filled properly.

Mine does this to certain extent. Is the 208 overfilled?

Your 208 input seal could be bad allowing the tran's fluid to leak in. Overfilling your TC and draining your trans.

That's what I think is happening. Will check it out this weekend. Just like to have one week of nothing going wrong.

The TV cable is also easy to set yourself and may eliminate at least one potential issue.
I hope it is just the TVcable. But I think my installer really messed up the adjustment in the beginning and fried the clutches- they attempted to fabricate their own bracket it was stacking shifts until they finally utilized the bow tie supplied bracket.

That's probably why Bowtie provides detailed installation instructions and insists on the use of a pressure gauge for setting up the TV. Hopefully they will do right and warranty their work.

Correct and my installer had that info all the instructions etc. so no fault of Bowtie. I know they drove it before using pressure gauge, and only reluctantly used the bow tie adapter. I hope they fess up and cover the damage but I am not confident. If not I will be naming the shop, about all I can do is give a bad review and tell everyone I know.
