i think between ssyork and i we carry enough spare parts when we go places to make most small town carquest stores look understocked
it's sooooooo far away for some
and sooooooo close for others
timewise that is lol

The cage never stopped me..I agree, i'm excited to go. At this point I try to talk to my wife to make plans for going and she just looks at me like i'm crazya since its 10 months away. For me I need to get it figured out so i can get things done in time. Like a cage built.![]()

When we get to the difficult stuff, the family unloads.and some padding I'm sure
can that stuff be had at Home Depot? Like plumbing insulation or something.
Goes back to the thread that started after BB this year about tech inspections or something of the like. Mine is starting the tear down for next year this weekend. Just got off of the frame rack to make sure I started with a straight one.I want to buy some new tires before Blazer Bash, want something that will work for blazer bash and on the trails here in colorado. Not worried about how they are on the street, the tires on it now are still over half tread. I plan on buying some black steel wheels to mount the new tires on and use just for the trails and getting there. I will trailer it to blazer bash. Use the ones on it now for when I drive on the street. So what is your opinions?

Dumb question here. What kind of material, size, wall thickness, ect., does a cage need to be made out of to make a full sized rig safe? Are we talking about 1 1/2", .120 wall or does it really need to be 1 3/4", .120 wall? How does it need to be made? What would a good cage look like for a half cab full size?
I really would like to attend this time. Crap not happening on my rig kept me from going last time. Thanks in advance.
LT.

I'd stick with 35's and run a Goodyear MT/R or if you need less expensive a 36" Irok, bias or radial depending on budget and personal preference. I'm not that crazy about the road comfort with my TSL's.I forgot to say I am running 35 12.50 15's on half ton axles and looking for something for a trail tire.
