well, if the doc's don't kill me tomorrow, looks like I'll be pulling the trigger on a BB 4x4 CC by the end of the week...

yeah, they go in in the morn.. and yeah, the leg/soluable plug gig...
downtime, I have no clue... could be a couple weeks, could be a couple months... the doc is well aware of the physical nature of my job, so I'm certain at least a new stress test after will be a minimum... he has me for a follow up visit of april 12.. i certainly hope he'll recheck me before than... dropped off the disability papers at the doc's office today, so hopefully I'll be getting some money in 3 weeks or so.. hopefully...
I probably wont be looking at the Dodges with getting this CC.. I'll run the BB for awhile, and maybe down the road do a Cummins swap... it's gonna come with no bed, so I'll probably be doing the tube bed fairly quickly...

Good to hear...I used to work in the Cardiac OR when I was an anesthesia technician...It was not uncommon in those days for a cath to turn into a bypass if they broke something....
good thing that didn't happen, as this hospital isn't equipped for heart surgery... they said that's real rare any more...
They are...but Wow, I woulda thought they would still have an OR reserved still...
When they first started doing the "roto-rooter" thing around 1989 they would break through the artery about 8 times out of 10...I'm not kidding....8/10 of the time. They always had a heart room reserved just in case.
I didn't mention that earlier because I didn't think you would want to know...but it sounds like they have changed stuff a lot....if and when I have to have that done too though I will already have these images in my mind and I will probably not do it unless it is in a hospital with a heart room...
