I should probably get a steering alignment done. I may install an anti-wrap bar on the rear diff and swap some better shocks in out back. I'd like to get rid of the rear blocks, but that means new springs. I have new springs up front that I want to put in out back when I link it, so I'll probably hold off for a bit longer yet.
Re-align the rear pinion angle - the new ORD leaf springs dropped the nose of the rear diff a few degrees.
Re-locate the hydro-assist steering ram to the driver side axle tube instead of over the diff.
Change the oil.
Give it a once a year cleaning.
Prep the tow rig.
That should take care of things.
1. pull the 454
2. swap in the LQ4 and get it running
3. replace the duct tape shackle hanger bushing that i've been riding on for far too long
4. tear down and freshen up the front axle
5. little things
6. prepare tow rig and trailer for nice long drive
Dropped my Tahoe off for a wheel alignment today. Supposed to be done by Thursday. Have had no less than 3 people call me to let me know that my Tahoe was sitting out front of the alignment shop haha!
Strap the spare tire to the top of the cage and bleed the front brakes. My dumb ass pinched a brake hose the other day, shoulda tied it back after the bump stop install.
