Nearing the end of the trail a wild rock jumped up and attacked my front diff, puncturing it presenting a trail repair opportunity. I pulled the cover out as best I could and used a piece of plastic cut from a water bottle siliconed in place, wrapped the whole thing in duct tape to keep the patch in place. It held fast for a few weeks until a temporary chrome cover replaced it.
Also coming of the trail this brono almost lost a tire due to loose lug nuts. Always remember to torque.

Great Pics! Nice Rig, Not sure why I like it but I do????:dunno:
If I worked at 4 Wheel Parts I wouldn't ever get paid it would be more like once you deduct my wages how much do I owe for all the stuff I bought this week?
they could actually do that, get a type of credit in store and pay it off with a deduction IIRC. I did spend a ton of money there and was thankful for the discount.

So jumping to early 2009, I bought a Rebel Wiring universal 12 circuit harness to update the old crusty wires and have blade fuses.
I also picked up some headlights from a BMW E30 to swap in.
I stripped all the old wiring out and put in the new.

After getting the wiring completed and any bugs sorted out, we planned another trip.
We headed to moab for Presidents Day weekend and had the privilege of running a trail with David Adams.

2009 turned out to be a really good year for me to go wheeling.
I had been friends with The_Blaze since high school and he invited me to come with him and his family to Easter Jeep Safari. We signed up to run Fins N Things for safari. We were also going to spend a few days riding quads and just playing around. As fortune would have it, I broke and had to make repairs everyday we were there.
On Fins my from drive line came unbolted from the tranfercase and ended my run at the half way point. I ended up having to get a thread chaser to clean the threads on the yoke before i could put it back together.

The following day we decided to mess around and check out some of the other areas near Moab. We stopped by Potato Salad and I succumbed to peer pressure and gave it a try. I am ever so greatful there were a few good photographers in our group.

Those last two photos are worth the price of admission right there!!!! :waytogo:

First you get massive air under the front end, then your truck eats an unsuspecting onlooker....!!!

:haha:

Yeah, He had a nice 70' k10 that walked right up the hill. He was a good sport and spotted me going up and out of reflex grabbed onto my bumper when I came down a slid to the side. My favorite part of the pics are the facial expressions in the crowd.

pooped ur pants? lol

thought you had a locker, that one picture looks like a whole lot of front tire spin :(
I was definitely pulling foam out after that. I'm locked in the rear still open up front

This. I love seeing the rigs out and doing things. :thumb:
build to play right?

Awesome pictures!
Thanks, I'm trying to get this caught up to present day, so lots more to come.

Beautiful K5 thanks for Sharing the pics!

Thanks, means a lot coming from you guys. :thumb:

I'd have needed a squeegie after pulling that much air on potato salad! I've tried it a few times but never made it up. Been to chicken to give it another go for quit some time.

Looking at all your pics is really giving me the itch to head down to moab again though! I've never wheeled with an automatic before so I'm dying to get down and see what it's like.
