Verdict is it peed a lot.
They unbolted the torque converter from the flex plate so he could have steering and brakes to get towed off.

It was good to see you out, sorry for the troubles

Pulled the converter last night and with only 300 miles the seal surface has some real wear. I wonder what your thoughts are on it. Would this cause it puke all the fluid out?

I have a new seal and fluid. I could just replace it and put it back together then cross my fingers. I might see if there's a new converter in or good used in that I could throw in.

Was the converter recently swapped in?

I recall that there are 2 distinct "seating" steps when you load and turn the converter to the rear of the tranny. If you don't get that 2nd one it puts a lot of pressure on the rear pump and can wipe it out.

Sorry, that's about the only thing I can offer for help / diagnostics.

Good Luck!!! :waytogo:

It was a new converter with the trans rebuild. I got it seated properly, with a quart in it before install.
