Got the trans up and in, pulled the pan so I can install a drain and temp sensor. Planned to have fun then saw this...

Doubt it. I'd be on the horn with the trans builder.
What year is the trans built for? Is it a factory build I'll look at all data tomorrow.
It's a late 80's case 87-89 and valve body. As far as I know it's a stock valve body.

been reading and there's 3 in the bottom half. Poked around with a pick and the 3rd is actually there just buried in the assembly grease.
There are 4 in the upper body where they are supposed to be looking at pictures.
My builder is up to his eyeballs in transmissions so it's possible I got an extra that fell in the pan.
Gonna look at a few more pics before I'm confident to put it back together.
