1977 Silverado Crew Cab.

The plate is from Molalla. It's a small town here about 40 min south of me.

Chief, the only thing I got going for me is my youth! Ish. I'm 28 and my arms and all that are in decent enough condition still. I know you had a tough time mostly with your shoulder. I can see how doing this kind of stuff would take a toll on something like that! Wish me luck that my limbs and back hold up!

Phil, it was kinda an accident that I really got started so hot and heavy but now the train is coming down the tracks and there's no stopping it!

And it's really not taking long. I probably have an hour into stripping do far. I think I could get it 100% primer ready in a full day.

Dang right I am! I worked for about 10 min the first day without one just using my shirt pulled over my face and that was enough! I got some good 3m masks for this phase and will get a nice respirator for painting.

So on order is a bunch of stripping discs and sand paper, a quart of ospho, and a paint gun cleaning kit. Next week I'll order the primers and fillers. A couple weeks after that I'll order the color and clear.

Lol I don't find it to be too dreadful. It's going pretty quick and it's nice cause you can kinda "check out" while it's happening so it can be relaxing.

I dicked around with my compressor for a bit today and confirmed my suspension that my fittings were miss matched and not allowing enough flow. Long story short I put different fittings on and all is well! Gun hold perfect pressure, da works nicely, and almost most importantly, my little sand blast gun works good! That will make things nice!

So my new stripping discs are supposed to be here Wednesday. There is a possibility that I will get a few hours in Wednesday after work but we'll see. Also anxious to see if work is going to have us come in this weekend or not! If they do, I'll have a bunch more money for paint and supplies, but if they don't, I'll have a bunch more time!
