Around 13.5:1-14:1 should be fine. You'll want to play with that IAC screw, give it a half a turn clockwise with it off.

Interesting, there isn't an IAC adjustment screw on the Holley. Do you have to set the target AFR? The Sniper has it already set. On the handheld I have it showing the target AFR and actual AFR. I never set an AFR target tho; it was just whatever it came set at.

I don't think you'd have to, no.

Seeing as how I will still have to sneak this through a tailpipe sniffer, I am just asking because @skunked has a few FiTech installs under his belt...

The FiTech did come factory preset at 13.6 AFR under idle.

But do you have to? I guess I don't really know enough to know why you'd mess with AFR.

Have to? Shouldn't......but the bigger cam engines we played with it a bit. There is also cruise and partial throttle/WOT AFR adjustments.

Interesting, I thought the target AFR was a common number any engine should try to hit and that you tune other parameters to meet it.

There's a general safe zone for sure but it's not a always going to produce optimal power.

Well so much for EFI that requires no fuel to run. It was work a shot.

BTW, where's the burn out video?

I have about 20 miles on it so far...

Let it learn some and we'll see if a (pair of) 38(s) can get loose...
