It would appear as though my power steering pump is unhappy.

Eh, poured beer all over it, still pissed...

Hub's? :dunno:

The pump isn't that big of a deal, just venting because it is barely out of warranty...

Drove my truck to work the last two days, pump is noisy as all get out, but still works. It actually sounds like there is a chunk getting kicked around in there, not the typical pump whine. Pulled the serp belt and no noise, belt reinstalled and noise is back. Either way, needs replaced.

To do list:

Build Dana 60 and install
Swap rear to 4.56
Install front FUSH kit, build new shackles
Replace throttle cable
Replace power steering pump
Rewire some additional circuits to a add-in fuse panel, add more circuits
Reroute fuel feed to FiTech
Get remflex for exh mani's
Investigate condition of current MSD distributor and related parts, possibly swap to a dizzy the FiTech can control.
Get

Wish list:

Ditch the 700 and go back to the th350
Find 64's and 52's
Build new shock mounting points all the way around
All the other stuff I have been needing (armor, winch, cage, two turntables and a microphone)

The hubs from me I think is what he is getting at.

As soon as I can get back to having lunches at work, they will be shipping out. I may have time tomorrow to get them shipped instead of riding in my truck.

What kind of shackles do you need to build?

and what kind of shock mounts do you want? I have some laying around.....

I have the 7.25 inch shackles from DIY4x, but I punched one end of them out to 5/8" bolt size to facilitate a cheap fix, now I need both ends to be 9/16" again.

Shock mounts are totally a wish list thing... In my current setup, I really don't need the 14" shocks that I have. I would like to take an inch or so out of the suspension, which would likely bottom the 14" bilsteins under flex. So need to build the mounts higher on the body side to keep that from happening...

Martin, haven't pulled the trigger on the trans swap back at all. Just don't have the gearing or the power to use OD, and, as much as I don't want to admit it, the TV cable is just a giant pain in the ass. At 40 MPH I am turning around 1100 rpm in OD, even with the change to 4.56's, that is coming, that will only be a couple hundred more RPM at best...

And I hate that it won't downshift to first unless I am barely moving...

If you want 6" shackles I have a couple pairs of DIY4X

also have some FERD shock mounts if you want those.

First of all, I am completely shocked that Martin is discussing an auto trans in any way besides "ditch it" .... Hahaha!

But keep in mind that you have to drop out of OD before you see what it would be like with the TH350. And if you get the T.V. cable right, it will downshift much better. It may still not go to 1st as soon as you may want, but the lower gear ratio in 1st could have some influence on how useful (or not) it is to downshift earlier.

Just keep the 700 out of OD. Then it's lower first gear will help ya out anyways. Just add a monster cooler and call it good.

Wow, pricier than I expected, but I guess that my wife already hates me, so add a coil and wires, and she'll have plenty to be upset about...

Any particular coil?

some distributors can be mechanically locked out as well, I'm not too educated on the subject and what distributors can be used but that's an option

for the coil, nothing in particular no. But if you want to mount the coil sideways make sure you get the resin filled coil, the liquid versions should be mounted vertically.
