You have removable drums? Man, are all the other guys jealous...
Everything I've seen says shackle flips are ok for towing. The newer dodge trucks like 03 and up all run a factory "shackle flip" I think.Thinking out loud here:
If the rear ends up not being tall enough with the 2in blocks to match the front with factory springs, what would be the best route to go to get the rear a bit higher?
1) Are shackle flips ok to use on vehicles that will tow a lot?
B) I don't really want to run a larger block, nor do I want to sacrifice the "decent" ride the truck currently has.
I will be running bags on the rear. So as long as it sits level, I thing I'll be ok.Shackle flip is fine. Especially if you end up with helper springs.
I thought I had read that too about the Dodge trucks. I guess I had just forgot.Everything I've seen says shackle flips are ok for towing. The newer dodge trucks like 03 and up all run a factory "shackle flip" I think.

No Big Block for you?![]()
Been there, done that. They are awesome, but not for what I need from a truck.
P.S. yes, I got your sarcasm. But did you get my pictures?!
Are you putting a solid axle in the front at this time?
