I promise that you won't regret the ORD springs! My '70 improved so much over the Tuff country ez-ride ones when I finally stepped up! I couldn't believe that I put up with them for so long!
The '90 has a great ride as well, but has some side to side movement of the axle that only bobbles once in a while.

That's good to hear because that is exactly what's in there now.

Thinking about this more, what is your steering configuration? Crossover? Is the drag link straight or have an S bend? My '70 has an S bend and a short drop in the pitman arm. This makes the drag link rub the top of the leaf pack gently at full left turn. I haven't done anything about it as of yet, because it isn't serious and too many trucks to do everything. :doah:
Just something to consider on yours.

I've had crossover for years. No rubbing. I'm not changing the lift, but I'll certainly have more travel. I'll keep an eye on it. Straight drag link btw.

Next piece of the puzzle just arrived.

Custom springs from ORD.

I've been parting out an armada for the last few weeks trying to recoup some funds, but it's about time to put some work into the blazer and do something with all of these parts I've been buying.

Hopefully more fun updates soon.

Hopefully you can keep the driveshafts, and the springs don’t travel so much more that they bind or hit anything

Frame damage from last blazer bash;

Looking at the 2 pics above you can see my front spring hanger is loose as well.

I'm working on getting the frame repair piece in place, but I can't figure out where the piece on the left goes. Anyone able to help me with that?

I’m impressed you cracked the frame there since there’s supposed to be a welded in brace on the inside of the frame. Did that not help at all or cracks are in other spots?
