God damnit.

The hydroboost bracket I bought from wfo is just random. It doesn't match the studs. I knew I should have just made it my own self. I hate this mystery meat shit. Surprise here's some shit you don't have that you need or you can't progress.

I was thinking to just knock the studs out and drill new holes. Apparently the column holder needs those studs. This is really upsetting.

What bracket are you talking about? I'm confused.

Yup, that sucks! !

I had a similar problem with mine from Vanco, I had to make one to keep it "right "....

This was literally the only one I could find. Is there another one? I can't stand this shit where it's like sure I'll sell you the unit but you're screwed if you're trying to mount it!

I don't know any specific info on these. I have a complete unit from a '79 at work, but you can probably build one before I could even get measurements.

Well now the steering pump is a pia.

I'm supposed to take out one of the studs behind the pump and it doesn't want to come out. This is for the mount kit.

Naturally the stud base stripped out instantly. Tried the double nut trick and nothing. Seems like it wants to pull the threads off if anything. I'm completely over building this truck.

Overbuilt is good I like that.

Yeah! Once this shit is done then I won't have anything to worry about but I just hate when everything falls apart in my hands.

Now I'm gonna get out the mig welder and try to weld a nut onto the stud. They must've zipped it in with an impact. If it doesn't work then I'm screwed.
