how come I didnt remember that screen door boat that floats????
good one Greg....clean it up, and plaster that sh!t on!!!
rear floor pan is coming along nicely....
the HomePro rivet kit.
The aluminum rivets seem to work nicely...they are .385 around the serated edges, and call for a .375 drilled hole for install, so tapping them in is a requirement, the sample piece I tried on some thicker than what I'm using for my floor, but when seated it mushroomed out to .455. After using the installation tool (after getting the right amount of pull depth set) they feel real solid...When putting some of the pan head screws in with a drill driver, a couple started kinda hard...maybe a burr, or slightly off center hole
....but they didn't slip the rivsert in its hole. I ran them in and out a few times, letting the drill driver seat them onto the floorpan metal with a bit of torque as well, then turned them back out, the seem secure.
