Are the pedels from a hydroboost setup? I seem to remember the pivot pin being in a different location on hydro boost setups. Providing more leverage but less effective travel.

Just drill a new hole 5/8" lower? Do you still have your old pedals?

I had no idea there was any difference in the pedal assemblies. Time to hit the junkyard. At least the part numbers are visible in the picture. That may help you if you have to look to make sure what you're getting.
I wonder if they used the same brake pedal on lots of GM cars and trucks. I bet they did.

when I did my last hydroboost swap with a clutch, I used the pedal that came with the hydroboost (for an auto) and cut it down to the size of the of the manual version. A little grinder action was all it took.
