Also if I drop it out more it swings the axle farther over. Right now it's not crazy at 2 inches.

I think I got it right where I want her.

Have some room and pretty easy to make more.. :grinder:

Good thing the bolt I am using has a shorter head than this one does. I'll still probally angle the mount some. I also may just lower it a smidgen and raise the axle a smidgen just in case.. I really don't want to put a bend in this at all.

Only rubs the radius arm, barely and the Baja t/a are narrower so I should have no issues rubbing!

Lol dude I just read that part of your thread, I had no idea you had all the same issues I am lol.. I am 7-8 up and 8-9 down. If I limit the travel to 16 inches I never go positive with caster. So I think that's a wise plan. My driveshaft plunge measures 2-3.5 inches.. I just taped it at bump and droop and it doesn't plunge much. Right now I have the trackbar oriented just in front of the diff cover bolt.. I have a little room if I adjust the axle side. I'm pretty confident I'll make it fit. Kiss is my plan at this point.. No sense it making it more of a pita if I don't gain something from it.

Yup it is pretty funny, sounds like you are in the same percentage as me. I told you it was like I was looking at my pics.:haha: I don't remember or think my axle pulls left or right. I thought the pan hard bar made it so it doesn't? But I assume this is where it goes through the range of motion the angles get screwy and bind.

Did some flexing to check clearances.

The trackbar hits on the crossmember as the passenger side is compressed.

Also let it hang the other way.

I ended up with that number because of all the stuff that's in the way. I am learning that with this frame on this truck we are very limited with up travel.. This makes for a tall truck.. Unfortunately unless you built it custom you probably won't get the low ride height without sacrificing a lot. You see how your short links make the wheelbase change pretty dramatic? I didn't want that for many reasons, that was part of why I went radius arm instead. But I won't have nearly the articulation you do if I keep it bolted together.

I really need a bandsaw.. I went through 3 cutoff and grinding wheels today to rough the shock mounts out. All this dust is from that.. Started out with a clean floor and bench..

Portabands work well with even 3/8" thick material. Only problem is you can't cut anything larger than 6". Well you can you just have to be creative and waste a lot of material.

I'll take a look at those, I'm going to scour craigslist.. Before any gets bought new.

Its looking really good, keep up the good work! :waytogo:

Where do you plan to mount the draglink?

I think you will be shocked at how much you will have to cut that fender when you start turning the wheel and articulating the suspension. You are going to need a lot more room than that.

You should save up and buy a plasma, it makes cutting brackets as easy as drawing on paper with a sideways marker.

The fenders are the least of my worries right now. I'll cut them or put Fiberglass on it.
I plan on mounting it on the knuckle, I need to check the angles to see how close they are, it is possible it may end up on the tie rid if they're not close enough.

Got shock mount mocked up.

I think it will be simplest if I use the same Bolt and put the shock and track bar in triple shear. bms does this in their kit. I'll ise a 5/8 bolt most likely.
