I remember that trruck. From somewhere. Engine was like 8" back. Can't be too many c-10 on beams out there. Crap now I'm gonna search too

Spent 4 hours this morning in 105 degree heat cleaning the frame and removing brackets from the bumpstops and shock mounts, also got a clean portion of the frame ready for tacking up mounts. The oem underbody coating is nasty.. I got good pics just gotta upload them later
Yes it is.. Roloc disk's on the angle grinder work pretty decent though. Just make sure you are wearing a mask.
Did some work today.
Attempted to take much better quality pics, I am attempting to show the ground clearance limited by the transfercase and the crossmember.
Here is an excellent (IMHO) underbody shot with nothing in the way. Boy do I have some work ahead of me! Its a good thing the motor and trans have to come out for a reseal because it needed it!
Another of the clearance, this is a bigger deal with the beams because the mounts hang lower than A arms, I have to figure out where to put them and have to make sure when it bottoms the bottom of the wheel does not pass the lowest point on the mount and drag the whole frame on the ground.
Before I removed all the mounts from the frame. Passenger side.
Driver side. see the hydroboost up in there. I am going to paint the engine bay when the motor is out, Ill do this once the cage is done so it gets painted as well on all sides.
Rear shot showing the clearance and my dented tank, which will get swapped for a fuel cell.
Long travel stock springs.. lol
Finished product.. or mostly finished.
Might have to move the header up some.. Ill send them to Greg so he can tig them for me.. stainless!
