I love that you still run the factory top. It makes it a bit of a sleeper.

I got my painted stuff put back on for this coming weekends recon trip. I am praying I have zero issues... I just want it to work and not be a problem filled day if I can avoid it..
I also found this mat when I was at Home Depot the other day and cut it to cover up the holes I had in the floor. Again I am hesitant to put in plates because I’m going to just end up cutting it back out. So this is a stop gab for dust ingestion. There will be a tire and tools on top of this and it’s a lot better than my duct tape mods before.. I also put a blanket around each shock that was cut to fit preventing further dust from getting in hopefully.

Got the re prep done, also identified a possible root cause for the axle seal debacle. The vent had a 1/16 hole and was not 1/4 like the fitting ID was so I drilled that out. I still have the fuel filter on the end to capture any vented fluid but hopefully this takes care of the expansion.

I also touched her up so she can be all pretty for her KOH and her new stickers

Boy that rig sure has come a long way. Remember when you wern't even sure it was ever going to be back together and running? One small step at a time and tons of perseverance and Ta-Da. Now all I need is a new Transmission case and we could hang out.
