And yea I am so glad I didn’t sell this or Ethel.. can’t even imagine the swarm of regret that woulda brought on..
I was reminded today why I hate headlocks.. I’m not sure why these particular wheels have so many bolts.. maybe they’re short course wheels or something.. but my back hurts from tightening these damn things.. 0FE29F2B-B448-4850-8049-44E479FA5D22.jpeg

Then it rained sheep and elephants for pretty much all day.. which sucked because when I was gone picking up the new tire there must have been a crazy downpour and water got into my garage. And made a mess so I have about 1/2 inch of water in the corners now.. glad I have everything off the ground mostly.

Yup beadlocks bring the suck but not having your tire pop of the bead is nice. Get an m18 fuel impact. Tighten to, two uga duggas.

I need to get a new cordless impact!!

So we’re out here on the non KOH lakebed and we’re literally alone.. it’s a bit windy at the moment but the last day and a half have been pretty spectacular imho!
The only real negative thing(perspective matters here) is my generator motor blew up.. I have a really good buddy who’s only about 25 miles from here save my butt because he wasn’t out here due to work and let me go pickup his for the week!! Thank god!!! I was sweating how I was going to keep stuff charged etc but things fell into place for us like they always do!
We got the ultra4K20 working ok today with external adjustments but it popped a water pump so that’s getting done in the morning. We have not made it over to Hammertown yet and ironically I am not that broken up about it, Alex and Jake ran around this afternoon and we had our own impromptu races and I just sat there’s d watched my buddies roost around and I pretty much couldn’t think of a better way to have spent today.. my wife and kid are having fun. Our trailer is working, I got hot water and a shower! Life is good!

Oh and Lucy is staying together so far and has been solid.. winning!!
 
At one point I saw steve walking around kickin rocks! Lol no idk what he was really doing but it was cool to see.
 
Wooooo yea I couldn’t have paid for that kind of advertising! But the funnny thing there is she broke there and purged alll the water from the rad because I didn’t have enough antifreeze in it and it actually was frozen. So we got the best spot because @jkroberts dialed that in just right and played the dead truck card! Lol!!
We represented the square out there for sure!!

Some of those pinion teeth were chipped, makes me wonder if they were that way for a while or not? I was told that it’s possible I broke those because of the hammering in the whoops and then it just progressed from there!
Who knows! Somewhere in this thread I have pics of the gear setup.
