'81 K5, "BlaZeus"- How to NOT build the ultimate budget K5; 3 & 4 link build

Good man! Lots of good videos to analyze what's happening, ok so a couple things, the reason it's a lot better is because you actually have some droop and the spring rates actually still lower than most all lift springs which means it'll still be better than it was.

It'll not sure how much droop you have from ride height so maybe chime in on that. Also keep your eyes peeled on rdc for springs, the springs is what I would touch first because that bases some of what your rebound is going to do and if you lose spring rate you will loose some rebound force from the spring. That aside it looks like the rebound is too slow and there isn't enough compression damping which is why it falls into holes, part of that could be your going to slow. Either way it would help.
If you want help tuning this let me know.

Go Faster.
I was going pretty fast...just doesn't look like it from the videos. Probably like 30-50

Nobody interested in this? Or anybody you know who wants to get into the blazer gang? I'll take $8k for it. I'm in escrow and need the money for the down payment. You could part it out for that much pretty easily if you wanted to.

I do. I could've gotten some that are a little longer but decided to be safe than sorry.

Should be fairly easy to measure out for longer ones. Just droop it out, and then give yourself an extra inch or so for safety. You spent the time and money on coils and links, a few bucks for longer straps can only help get the most of it.

Well I need to sell it. No one's bought it so it sits. :frown

Well...little problem. Where the panhard frame mount bracket is, the frame got all jacked up from jumping it and railing on it on the desert trip. I have no way to fix it in my current living situation so basically I'll take $6500 for the truck. I could easily part it out for that much for sure but would rather sell it to someone who has the means and abilities and time to do it right and fix the small frame section. I'm taking a huge hit on this and I'm really bummed but I just can't fix it and there's not a shop around me that would let me work on it. I also would hate to part it out and see all the work I did putting this truck together go down the drain but I have to move on with my life. Will post pics of damage later.

Okay. Last offer before I chop it up and part it out and scrap it. $5000 cash takes it. Someone just buy it and part it out and make some money so I don't have to! Lol

Only if you want it to!
