'81 K5, "BlaZeus"- How to NOT build the ultimate budget K5; 3 & 4 link build

Trust me it's a dream come true. Once we started it the whole project changed my perspective.. it's on now!

taking a trip down to Ocotillo for the weekend 1/27/17-1/28/17. I'll be showing up late Friday night or early Saturday morning. If anybody is down to mob out, it'd be rad to have some other rigs out there! PM me for more details! :saweet::woot:

More updates:
Scored some 39" BFG KR2's race take-offs with the patriotic lettering on the side. These are my favorite tires so I'm stoked!

Also, as some of you may know, CA has been getting a crap ton of rain lately. And since I probably don't have much time left with BlaZeus, I decided to put the top back on and daily driver it the 3 miles to work this week. Sorry Tundra Mifflin.
I do like the look of it with the top on, it looks more "complete" but I also love the fact that it is a removable top and so it makes it really unique without it on, especially since not many people with k5's run without the top...grrr

Dude if you painted it the same color, lost the grille and fixed your fender alignment it would look 100x better
I totally agree:thumb: ...but
Definitely planning on painting the front clip.
Grille...eh...I spent $70 on it. Not about to just chuck it in the trash...it may not be everyone's favorite part of the truck but it's just one part of a much larger vehicle...lol :dunno:
To fill the fender gap I'd have to get custom glass panels made, not worth it for me. Maybe somebody else will care enough to have them made, but I'm sure once it's all painted it won't be as noticeable.

How much are you selling it for?
Whatever someone is willing to pay for it. Lol :deal:
I've thrown around the 10k number to some people who have stopped to talk to me about the truck and nobody has dropped dead on the floor:yikes::rotfl:...yet...lol. But I'd like to get at least 8 for it all said and done. Just enough to pay off the rest of my debt and then sell my tundra and get 100% debt free! :woot:

Would have been easy to add some fibreglass to those fenders to match up with the doors better.
How so? "Easy" is a subjective term to describe something. What someone might consider easy, another might consider extremely difficult.

Fair enough... the paint will help I suppose.

But a bit of thin sheet metal with fiber glass over top some dyna glass and boom Easy!

Carry on it has come along way for sure!
