I got the towers and shocks from ORD but can't remember the price for them....I'll dig up the invoice and see. I'm thinking about 45.00 for the towers but not 100% sure.

I've been to Goddard before. It's a ways down there. Otherwise I would say try Tuttle Creek if you wanted a fun off road park.

Finally got the drivetrain and brakes in excellent working order....now it's on to the TBI.
I plan on putting in a mild cam sometime this summer but for now I'm going to go with the bolt on toys.

You can see how thick the injector spacer is.
I haven't cut the bottom of the air breather out.....I may do that later. Haven't read where it hurts to make that modification unless you want to keep it for original.
I also added a 1 1/2" extension to the elbow for the fuel pressure gauge. This lets me see it a bit easier.
Getting to the AFPR knob is a pain....If you have longer fingers than mine then it's not that bad. But it is still adjustable without taking anything apart. You just have to move the air breather.

Lesson learned
Stock 700r4 pan....with silicone, and rubbler gasket that came with the filter.
This happened in less than 48 hours of installation. I came out to the garage and saw about 10 different sized spots on the floor and thought WTF?
After some research on here, I decided to buy the aluminum pan with gasket. I like the thickness of the mounting points and edge.

Bumpers were made by RLC Fabrication. I seen his thread on Pirate and decided to check it out.
He made both front and rear with anything I wanted or he suggested and shipped for a total of $1500.
The guys name is James and he is great to work with.
I know there are other builders out there that do great work, I just like to spread the work around. As you have already read.

The Warn VR12000.....Not the most expensive of the 12000 lb winches but I trust it until it fails me. Then I'll fix it and do it all over again

Decided to check on some rust issues. So far the weather has been great for Nov/Dec. And I wanted to mount a cb antenna. This gave me the idea to remove the top and replace the seals while I was at it.
Well....the seals (cracked, flaking and falling apart) held up good. Seems all the moisture coming in is through the back window/tailgate area.
Here's the rust: Right rear quarter behind tire
Same side and panel.....just toward front of tire.
Bubbling on driver side rear quarter.
Tailgate is cracked at both corners
Bought the end caps from LMC.
Someone on ebay wants $80.00 for a NOS GM set of these caps....He told me they are not made anymore and that LMC doesn't carry them. Glad I researched.
Don't get me wrong.....having NOS parts is a good thing.....but aftermarket for some parts is OK for my rig. Total cost with shipping was under $30.00. And they look pretty damn nice. Mine were toast. Now I'll see about replacing all the weatherstripping for the tailgate.
