Yeah if it's not much hassle I'd like to know what parts to start buying.

I could throw in some of the big washers we have at the shop to see. I just hate taking those caps and arm off.

Do you just buy the diy cap and tap the top of the box? Can it all be done without taking it off the truck?

Will do!

Yes I did it all with the box on the frame...laziness happened!

The sector shaft cap is tricky to get off. There's a lot of misconception with the adjustment of that shaft. I had to spin the cap around the shaft but it worked. Just don't want to get too much tension on the sector shaft but leaving it where it's at and spinning the cap gets you very ballpark.

It goes on the return side between the steering box and pump.

The end cap hose goes to the fixed side of the ram and the sector cap hose goes to the moving side of the ram....on a passenger drop axle.

Same exact list I used from surplus center (even down to the 45* swivel on top of the steering box....I messed up on that and tried to put a 90* on top of the box and it didn't work, so had to order a single 45* swivel...pissed me off).

I used this ram though:

And this steering cooler:

Weather you want a 2" or 1.5" ram depends on how much you want to drive on the street. If more street driving than normal, get the 1.5" like wetoolowdingbangow posted, if care more about having the power to steer big meats in the rocks, get the 2". Since I knew I was going to run a big tire, I wanted the 2". But I did drive the 2" on the street multiple times and didn't find it dangerous at all, just a tad bit slower than normal is all.

Do they not offer a 1.75" ram? My hydro system wasn't piece mealed, however it came with a 1 3/4" that turned 40s in the rocks or at speed on the highway with no issues. Maybe split the difference?

@skunked Thanks again for the lockouts!

Changed the spark plugs today and noticed my drivers manifold has a few cracks. Most likely will end up getting long tube headers cause the Y pipe it currently has interferes with the front driveshaft. More things to spend $$ on.

Got my led lights installed. What a difference and I like it.

@82355 I painted the mirrors white. I like it much better.

Once I make it drivable I'm going to have to chase down why it runs like shit under load. The joy of TBI.
