That padlock is funny!

Thanks everyone, you think the tires will actually hit that orbital? It's a little smaller than the factory steering box plus I've never hit that one beforeLooking good, I like your idea of full hydro, i just wouldnt mount it where the org box is. Make it higher and away from the tires..

Unfortunately I will be selling the m1009 soon. I need to get a tow rigPleasant surprise checking for an update an seeing all this!!!
Looks Great muddermitia!
Love the pic of the 2 rigs together.

I see what you mean, I'm a long ways from coilovers but that would definitely help with re doing my upper shock mounts. I think I will just deal with the orbital in the stock location for now. Should be easy enough to change later down the road if I decide to.Not really because of the tires hitting it but as you get further and further along if you mount it higher up and away it just gets it out of the way.
Really opens up that side of the frame for coilover mounting without the steering shaft there

Thanks guys. The other truck is my brothers 1952 Dodge M-37. It's sitting on a 1978 Suburban frame thats been shortened. Has a 600-650hp big block too. I will post a pic once I get back home.Love the extreme tapered front end muddermilitia!!
Seen it on a few rigs but yours is the narrowest yet!
Looks great!
What is the other rig (with the Mickey Thompsons) sharing the garage with your beast??
Its pretty easy once your at this point to move the radiator back some too.
I move mine like 5" I think and and still using the mechanical fan, had to do some shroud trimming but its fine.
Doing that will allow you to move the winch back even further. Helps approach a good amount

. Well done sirLove the extreme tapered front end muddermilitia!!
