Well we had some failures of the spectacular fashion.

Three broke driveshafts.

Three rearends

One blazer lost the whole knuckle due to failed ball joints.

Mine broke the front ps box cap. Cracked around the fitting. Took 2 hrs to get it back to the trailer.

One bent rim and destroyed tire that directly led to a 14ff destruction.

Having to come back down Tuesday to recover two Jeep's and one blazer.

Nope, mine just lost a ps cap. I heard the stock cap just don't hold up. So I got some 1.25in bar stock and going to weld it onto my new cap and use it as a boss for the old fitting.

That wheel and tire combo was the black blazer. Blew the opposite side ball joint this time. Last trip here it did the driver side same thing.

April 14th is our next planned outing.

The LS swapped 5 speed 2 door 3/4 s10 blazer hits the dyno on April 12. So gives everyone time to lick their wounds, definitely install CBs, and this other blazer to go with us.

Man, I would just spend the $32 on the DIY cap and be done. I love how easy it was.

I may just do that too and swap them out later.

It may end up having to go back down and perform extraction duty. So I need it functional quickly. Plus I need to figure out the fluid situation. The Mobile One got hot after a while, and Royal Purple is 55$ for enough fluid. Which is a tad redicoulous

just a general comment, not necessarily directed at you ;)

which fluid, PS?

So fixed the cap, filled the system and the pump was roasted. Figures.

So replaced the pump, and wired in the CB. Need an SWR meter and a lesson on how to tune it and be in business.

And may as well tag this picture from this AM, which ended in my door getting roached.

I got an SWR on Amazon for about $20. The instructions were totally clear, so I watched a YouTube video about it and it was fairly easy after that.

Looks like fun man!!! FWIW... I run royal purple and it is well worth it. No foam and never fried a pump.

I lost all the shocks a while back. They got canabilized for another project and I haven't replaced them yet. I was considering 5125s for the back and the 7100s for the front.

Lol, I wheel without them for the smoother ride.

And I just got Lucas from Walmart. Cost me 20$ for 2qts. Seems to work good, bleed out pretty quick and the pump actually sounds better than before.
