Same exact bounce snapped em both. I knew better than to attempt bouncer obstacles but I had to see.

In reality the front yoke is dirt cheap and was due to at the very minimum 7+ degrees of pinion misalignment. The rear 1350 was binding at full droop while the 1410 obviously didn't, so it let go.

Surprisingly it broke right in the parking lot basically. I was less than 50yrds from the fire and campers. These ledges are literally right there, so when the bouncers do them it's easy to watch.

Took less than 30min to roll it off the ledge and onto the trailer.

Thanks. The crossmembers are decent. I can remove either one and the other one supports it. I need a skid plate.

I thinks you might need these and some medium duty driveshafts and yokes. Either that or a wayyyyyy lighter rig since you seem to be a bit rough on things.

I have been kicking it around lately. It's way lighter, smaller and nicer overall.

I would sell the 454 and 4l80e, and probably just run a stock 5.3 and a lighter smaller tranny using my doubler and tons.

I hate to be that guy, but you need to stop wheelin' this thing until you get some shocks. My buddy with a suburban did the exact same thing as you, and would stubbornly keep hitting the trail and breaking. You are spending time and money, you might as well get this done right so you can enjoy the fruits of your labor.

Other than that, I like the new wheels. Looks awesome!

Yea I know. I'm stubborn and trying to be cheap doing everything 4 times.

I been looking at Bilstein 7100s for the front and 5100s for the back. But then I want to move my shock mounts, then it becomes a huge ordeal. Snowball effect

you could always throw some $100 pro comps on it, that will make a world of difference over nothing.
This times eleventy!!!

It actually doesn't ride bad, the springs with the setup they have now arnt terrible minus the shocks. It's been impressive. That being said I'm on the hunt for shocks as we speak.

It definitely did this time.

So grabbed this feller for 14$. This will fix my front shaft l, and I made some 10* shims that I can mill down if need be to align it and prevent this disaster again.

Now the other end is a 3.5in 1410 yoke. So I'm going to ditch my 4in rear shaft, and remake a thicker 3.5in shaft using my slip from the 4in one. The 4in one has drag marks spiriled all over it like a barber pole. So a smaller stronger target. So I just need a bolt on yoke for my 205, and a few feet of 3.5in .120 wall or something to connect it.

Not bad

Got my 205 1410 yoke. So now I'm all 1410 except for the 1350 CV from the Super Duty. Hopefully it decides to hang out for awhile till I can at least get some shocks for it.

And then I'll probably wheel it, without shocks, and break something else and do this all over again. Hopefully with some decent pictures for once.

I went to the park this past weekend, and watched a Jeep XJ send it and snap the Dana 30 in half when it finally landed a good 30+ft after take off. Seen the video floating around FB, surprised the guy could walk after a landing like that in a vehicle without a single dune style upgrade.

Got the front axle back in with the new shims. They have my castor way way out of wack but my pinion angle is dead on so it's good enough. It's not going high speed so it will work till till I get a 1410 on the front shaft instead of the 1350cv. Such fun by myself.

Wish I could come help! And then I wish you could come help me get my crap together! Haha!

Lol. It would be nice wouldn't it?

I'm ready to go wheeling again. I'm picking up some 3.5in tubing this week so I can utilize my new 1410 stuff, and I have the yoke already for the front shaft, so I'm back in buisness. I truly need exhaust, shocks and a traction bar though.
