Well with all the heavy lifting done to getting my stuff packed at my house and now hanging at Larry’s place we’ve tinkered on the Crawlabago a bit.
I’ve had the raffle prizes I won at Blazer Bash sitting in the camper since I got back from the event and they needed installed. The blower switch for the heater needed replaced and the correct core support has been almost ready to install for months too.
So while I was doing the blower switch install Larry tackled the sweet shackle brackets from
@Engineered Vintage . There was a slight interference with one of the bolts for my Warn bumper so a little action with the grinder gave us the space we needed.

Yes after I posted this pic to IG we realized the shackle bolt was loose.

My original paint job on this was way to glossy and full of dirt from shooting in a windstorm apparently. So I scuffed it up again and shot it with more satin
The Great Lake Extreme Off Road diff cover got fogged black too.
Larry took some time between work calls to swap the core support in. Looks similar but I packed the dang bezels and turn signal housings! They are at my Dad’s right now!
I ordered a new lube locker gasket for the rear cover and Larry installed it today. I dumped the sauce in when I got home from work. Looks good.

Larry took a flap disc to the housing and knocked off the hard edge on the front side that aids in snagging on stuff. More could come off but that’s a project for another day.
The diff swallowed 5 quarts of sauce now with the bigger cover
Totally appreciate hanging at Larry’s and being able to knock out some little things while I’m here.
