94 Z28 coupe

did you know 96 was the first year for the BCM?
Mine has a similar module, the RAP. Even listed in ye olde service manual
In my hunting and probing for the BCM, I started pulling all the control modules out and cleaning them
Here’s why:

At least it wasn't covered with white fuzz all over.
I was having trouble with a 1999 Chevy van and I finally opened up the email case which is aluminum and found it covered with aluminum oxidation.
I blew it with compressed air then scrubbed it with brass bristles brush an sprayed contact cleaner and dried it up, and all the problems wen away.
It's been a year but I think a coating or paint on the inside of the case might be necessary

In all my readings found that this is a common thing for this era car. Little elbow grease and try everything again

Ordered a speed sensor for the front, since I didn't find anything funky with the EBCM system yet
Also ordered an ALDL cable and some other things

Decided to put everything back in as stock and run it so it will reacclimate to the BLM on the stock cal.
Messing with the MAF has thrown some extra fuel in there that I'm seeing into the 145 range
Plan is to get it back "home" and then data log it as stock for a baseline into TunerPro. Then I'll have something uncorrupted to fall back to

First time I've really driven the car in 3 years. Runs pretty decent for a stock SloMaro

Nice! Wish I had more CID. I do have a 350tbi engine on a shelf at Dad's.....
That’s a good start. But actually those 305s hit above their weight class. A TPI version would be better...

Yeah. The LO3 is crappy truck heads on a roller bottom end. I'd like to find some TPI heads for it. Or maybe some 305 Vortec heads.

Third one is probably the best. see 3:15 or so for the WOT
Anyone see anything fun in there, let me know

Stock, no CAI, TB, or MAF changes
Has an aftermarket air elbow in from of the TB
No Cat, 3" Flowmaster in stock dual outlet 2.25" location/configuration

So update: going further down the rabbit hole, I’ve been pointed to another tuning platform known as EEHack/Flashhack. Sister programs engineered by a program guru who spent a lot of time looking things over with @eaglemark

This program is specifically designed to read, data log, and then flash the $EE mask computers such as the one I have in the car. It also is designed to help tune it in a more friendly fashion similar to other programs from what I understand

And I might need it:

cold air is already installed. Also going to use the Granitelli and a 160* thermostat. Should be able to gain ~75 hp over stock
