Lots of generic kits also do not have the correct thickness gaskets . This can lead to parts to tight or broken adapters.
What's your recommendation?

That's weird.Well this sucks, my headers came in and I tried to install them but didn’t line up. The flange on the headers were about 1/2” to short in length. Bolt holes didn’t line up. Now I gotta return them and try to order correct ones.
Ya I’m going to double check again today, I was a little hung over Saturday morning when I tried lolThat's weird.

I was doing a little research and what I read is, that part only helps warm up the engine quicker and doesn’t have to do with smog, since I have the new headers I don’t need it, as long as I keep the air tubes connected. Not if you need to smog
I missed The part where it says I could fail the visual inspection. Stupid smog crap. Well guess I’ll see if this part still fits with the new headers if not I’ll be finding a smog shop to pass my truck lolI was doing a little research and what I read is, that part only helps warm up the engine quicker and doesn’t have to do with smog, since I have the new headers I don’t need it, as long as I keep the air tubes connected.
