Very nice, I like it dude![]()
Thanks buddy. I shoulda brought the upper bends out another few inches to really match the body line. But I couldn't be much happier at how they turned out.

Now would be the time to change it but I don't think it's a big deal, I would leave it.
No more Confederate flag in you truck?

I ripped it out last summer. Well at least what was on the underside. I guess there was still a little left of it on the other side.
FYI, i did not install that. It was in it when i bought it after the blazer came up here from Tennessee.
I am not a southerner, so im ripping all that junk out lol.
This is a PURE MICHIGAN blazer now![]()

Ya know, some of us up here in Yooperland think that WE have the PURE side of Michigan, and you guys on the other side of da bridge just have dirty Michigan...

but, windshields are dirt cheap... usually it's $200 or less.... why fight it? hard enough to do the welding with it out...
try to save it, if not, just call the local glass guy when done..
Ill prolly just try and pull it. I just know my A pillers have lots of rot, so now im gonna have to spend a day cutting, grinding, welding, bondoing, painting to get them halfway decent, cuz "might as well" right?
What are the tools needed. And I imagine Ill need a new seal? Or no? Mine looks fine. But idk if it'l get ruined.
Its not changing now. I only ordered one stick of DOM, and that is what I did the B pillar out of. The rest is HREW. As it is about $40 a stick, and DOM was like $90 a stick.
Yes, everyone can hate on me for it, but after looking at the properties of the 2 different steel, I really dont think HREW is that much lesser of a metal.
Hate on me if you want. I did the B pillar out of DOM, and I think thats the most critical piece anyways.

A glass guy is totally unnecessary on these trucks, it's so easy to put windshields in these trucks it's ridiculous.
All you do is pull out the center trim and lightly push the window out. Put the window and seal back in and re install the center trim.
You don't need any "special"tools, just a good section of basic hand tools. (If I was working with a budget.) - I wouldn't run a new seal, unless I ruined the old one.
If you can afford the 40 bucks for a new one then I would go for it. Very simple to do. Just take your time and don't fight the glass, once you fight it, it will crack. If you buy a new seal get it out of the package and get it laid out in the orientation you need with some weight on it right away, let it sit that way a day or so, until your ready to install. Once your ready let it sit in the hot sun for half the day to warm it up, and then install in the sun. Glass will get hot! Get some light gloves. But it will keep the rubber pliable.
Set the glass in the seal and set the unit "in" the truck. The bottom will go in first. Then work around in one direction. (I usually go around the drivers side first) PATIENCE IS KEY!! I have done them myself, but for a first timer get another set of hands, having a good helper is worth their weight in gold.

That's where the wire tool would have helped cut that.

I just ordered a set of rear 57" Ford f-150 leaf springs. Coming soon, Deulings Ford Blazer.... Or Chevy Bronco...![]()

Take your time use dish soap to help lube it. Taking it out is the easy part. Getting it in is the hard part. Dave pulled a window from my old k5 in like 5 minutes by himself.

Why no ORD springs?
