Only downside of putting the ECU in the cab is the hole for the cable end.

I don’t like the way it looks under the hood more than anything else.

@mrk5 , you need to come up with a nice under hood mount location for the ECM.
@sweetk30 has already proven that it will handle the moisture and heat. He probably still has swamp-ass from this summer!
:haha:

Wouldnt think, but low voltage will piss off the ECM bad

two batterys died when it got cold and the bran new o2 sensor i just put in the system tells me its bad

Where did you all mount your coils? Tried searching and didn't find many examples. Been a long time since I needed to mount a coil.

Same here. Used this one. There are some nice billet ones that are cheaper but won't work since the firewall is not flat in the area close to the distributor

the coil I ended up using MSD Part # 8223. This one makes it easier for the coil wire. I tried a very short 4" wire but that did not turn out well and is way too short. Ended with a longer one that does half circle around distributor to the coil.

that’s a fancy clamp, I like it.

I went with a cheaper summit clamp in black that matches my black coil.

I couldn't use that style since my coil location was close to the area where the firewall is not flat. Needed the mounting bolt holes to be vertical
