Spent some time removing paint this morning. Some of it flakes right off and some of it has a primer behind it. Lots to go but I got a decent start.

As far as possible. Basically if I can get to it with some form of power too it'll likely have the paint removed.

Removed the rest of the electrical and vent lines from the back of the truck to gain access to the rest of the steel.

We're looking to reduce the fuel cell to one if possible without spending 3-4K on a custom unit.

Sorry. But why are you wasting time cleaning paint off?

Get the new functional parts in that thing, and get it out for some test runs. Grinding paint is a waste of effort imo.

Plus it's never been brought down this far and wades right, it has to be done at some point, I've counted 4-5 layers in some spots, others a single layer.
Also if the paint is really on there you might not get the cracked paint showing through so I'm just going through the motions st this point to be damn sure.

And we want it to look good for the mint. That's the point right? To beat the hell outa moss and look damn good doing it.

We might have some leaf springs for sale soon ;)

More paint removal.. man this things got like super paint in some areas, nice primer though not gonna grind that off.
