Yes it'll be skinedYou going to skin them at all
Well after a few weeks of long thoughts and many texting conversations I've taken the leap sold my axles and my new axle techs well be here in a week or so
Axle techs are a step or two better then rocks.Specs?
Why not Rockwells?
When you say Axletech's I'm thinking 4000's. Is that correct? If so, steering on both ends?
I don't like rock wells at all big center section and see guys break them
......But they give you a good driveling angle, hard to fit with a low center of gravity. Will need 20" rims and tars.
I've seen guys break bowling balls......But they give you a good driveling angle, hard to fit with a low center of gravity.
That's actually false I'll be running my 17s found a few guys running them that make wheelsWill need 20" rims and tars.
I was about to mention this too...gonna see 47" LTB's on the for sale section?
You can break anything....really the only guys I've seen breaking rockwells "a lot" are guys with really big power and really big tires (50"+) that love to mash the gas unnecessarily. I'm not saying you can't break rockwells on 47's with normal wheeling, but I doubt you would have trouble. And with how far forward that front axle already is, fitting the center chunk would be no problem at all.
But AT4000's are the new fad of the sport right now...and they are bitchin for sure, so not doggin your choice at all, but they are heavy mother f'ers that's for sure

To run the 17s ill have custom brackets with willwood brake setupI've always sa your weakest link should be tire traction and on the East Coast it usually is. The only problem
Well that's good....I saw on the their site that 19.5" or 20" rim was needed.
From the looks of things......You should have no problems slowing down with the size of brakes on them.
