Pics of my Dana 60 14BFF Install

I hear you... and definitely don't want to deter you from what you are comfortable with... BUT if a tow rig with insane power is what you are after, I still vote for the Cummins. You'd be surprise how simple the earlier Cummins were. BTW... I'm a die hard Cheby guy, BUT I do own a new Cummins b/c it's tough to beat the reliability of the engine and solid front axle. However, I do feel like I'm driving a tractor everywhere I go (it'll shake the fillings out of you!).

Love the build and am excited to see whatever powerplant you end up putting into it!

I havent taken any pics of the interior yet. Its all stock blue. Its in ok shape but needs a ton of tlc. It has a new headliner and dash pad...that helped alot.

Here are a few pics of my stabilizer set up. Triples, but nothing hangs down any lower than the tie rod.

have you thought about hydro assist? i guess its alittle late now that you have the stabilizers. just didnt know if you thought about it

Yea I thought about it.....I and I thought..."thats a $1,000 to go toward my big block"!:D
 
Here is a pic of the burb outside. It is cloudy so it didnt turn out too good. But, you can get an idea of its stance.

Need some zero rates in the back to get rid of the ass draggin' look. That's one sweet burb! Great job.

I know what you are saying but its the camera angle and the way the driveway is sloped. It is sitting dead level. I have a set of 1" blocks I was gonna put it but its level.
 
The body lines of burb help it look like there is saggy butt going on. A little boost in the rear always takes care of it.

Yeah, it is level. It's always just the wheel well clearance front vs back that makes it look saggy bottom. Which is the only reason I put the zero rates in.


BTW: awesome looking burb! Great job on your part!

Here is about 2" higher in the rear:

4 inches in the front, about 6 in the rear via 1ton 56's and 1ton hangers, plus 4 inch blocks. The hangers account for at least one of the extra inches. I actually had major saggy butt with the stock half ton stuff.

Yeah, purchased 10 of them at one time. I still ended up just soldering the old one but at some point would love to get a second DRAC and get a dip switch put on it.

I was reading over this great thread again and I was thinking about my swap. Then it hit me, his speedo is gonna be off and it was a pain when I was first trying to fix it. I didn't know what a DRAC was!!! :eek1:

I was actually going to give you a hard time about removing the 2500 badge and still having auto hubs :D
